Powder Coating Systems
Powder coating systems, developed to reduce environmental damage of solvent-based liquid paints and driven by many major markets. Nowadays, powder coating has taken place of solvent-based liquid paints for many applications. Almost, all the metal products and industrial products that we use in our lives are covered with electrostatic powder paint. PaintSys offers all phases of electrostatic powder coating systems, from pre-treatment lines to conveyor lines, according to the needs of our customers.
Cost
Electrostatic powder paint has many benefits and the most important benefit relates to efficiency and overspray. The average initial transfer rate of electrostatic powder paint is 60-70% and can be recycled over spray. Approximately 95-98% of electrostatic powder paint can be used with minimum loss with recycled powder paint. This ratio range is of 30-35% in liquid solvent based paints. In addition, roughly 50% of the prepared mixture is evaporated and the overspray cannot be recovered. The unit cost of powder coating is considerably less than the solvent-based paint.
Security
Electrostatic powder coating is very safe. Powder Paint does not pose a health risk if it is not used because it is solid. Its application is much easier and safer. It does not contain harmful chemical substances such as solvents or volatile organic compounds (VOC) found in solvent-based coatings.
Environmental
Waste is also not dangerous and can be disposed because It does not contain harmful chemical substances such as solvents or volatile organic compounds (VOC) in solvent-based coatings.
Resistance
Powder paint is generally twice resistant as compared to standard solvent-based paint. The real advantage is its flexibility and bending ability over the material it is applied to. This is most important expectation of all industries where products are subjected too much vibration.
